My name is Diogo de Sousa Gaspar. I finished my Masters in Medicine at the Faculty of Medical Sciences, New University of Lisbon, in 2014. I did my specialization in Orthopedics at Hospital Garcia de Orta, where over the last 3 years I developed a particular interest in surgery in the anatomical area of the Wrist and Hand. I have dedicated myself especially to surgery in this area. I participated in numerous specific training courses, including national and international courses and congresses, in order to develop my skills and knowledge in that area. I did a wrist and hand surgery fellowship at the Fist and Hand unit at Hospital Cuf Discoveries in 2019, where I had the opportunity to work with several specialists who are national references. In 2019, I have completed a postgraduate course in Sports Medicine organized by the Portuguese Society of Sports Medicine. In 2022, I joined the Fist and Hand team at Clínica Lambert and the Fist and Hand Unit at Hospital Beatriz ngelo. I am currently a member of the Portuguese Society of Hand Surgery and the International Society of Wrist Arthroscopy.
