My name is Jean-Michel Fallah. I've been a doctor since 2015, when I graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Salamanca (Spain). I trained in Orthopaedics and Traumatology at the Garcia de Orta Hospital, where I felt a particular interest in the anatomical area of the Foot and Ankle from an early age. To this end, I attended several international courses organized by the European Foot and Ankle Society (EFAS) and complemented my specialization with internships in which I worked with national and international references in Foot and Ankle Orthopaedics: Dr. Manuel Resende Sousa (Lisbon), Dr. Nuno Brito (Porto) and Dr. Stéphane Guillo (Bordeaux, France). In 2020, I completed a Postgraduate Course in Sports Medicine organized by the Portuguese Society of Sports Medicine. I am currently a member of the Portuguese Foot and Ankle Society and responsible for foot and ankle surgery at the Orthopaedic Department of Hospital Garcia de Orta. My areas of special interest are minimally invasive surgery and arthroscopic surgery for the treatment of orthopaedic and traumatological pathology of the Foot and Ankle.
