My name is Diogo Lacerda, I've been a doctor since 2016 after completing my Master's Degree in Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon. I'm currently an Orthopaedic specialist at the Sant'Ana Orthopaedic Hospital. I obtained a postgraduate degree in Sports Medicine with subsequent specialization in Football Medicine (FPF), having been clinical director of Real Sport Clube between 2021 and 2023. I'm mainly dedicated to shoulder and elbow surgery, and the international fellowships I did during my training contributed to this, specifically at the Federal University of S. Paulo (Brazil) with Dr. Benno Enjisman and at the Tokyo Sports and Orthopedic Clinic (Japan) with Dr. Hiroyuki Sugaya.
