My name is Sofia Flor Garcia and from 2002 to 2008, I graduated and did a master’s in dental medicine. When I finished my basic training, I was interested in Orthodontia and, in 2010, I did a postgraduation in this field and in orthodontic biomechanics. Since then I have been dedicated mostly exclusively to this passion.
Depending on each clinical case, I use several techniques: orthodontics with removable braces, conventional fixed or self-ligated braces or lingual. I am also an Invisalign certified and pos graduate.
I keep focusing on my training as a way of staying up to date.
I practice orthodontia in very young patients, as a way to improve children’s occlusion, and in older patients for oral rehabilitation when it comes to replacing lost teeth.
Currently, I'm the deputy head of Orthodontia's assistant consultation at Egas Moniz Institute for Health Sciences.'
